Feature Exhibit (Art Auction Time)

February and March's Gallery window displays at both the Lancaster City Gallery and the Bloomfield Village Gallery are in honor of the Virtual 19th Annual Art Auction Fundraiser!

 This year's art auction is all about leaving your mark, in conjunction with Friendship Community's 50th anniversary celebration. Join us for this weeklong virtual auction fundraiser and celebrate the talents of the Heart Artist as they Express Their Capabilities. The pieces in this year’s auction range in size, medium used and subject matter. There is truly a piece for everyone! A Paint Brush Pull will be featured again this year. For $10 per numbered paintbrush (or $50 for a bundle of 6), you will be entered into a drawing for a Friendship Heart Gallery prize pack valued at over $400! Included in the prize pack are a number of Primitives by Kathy Collaborative Collection home décor pieces, original jewelry handcrafted by the Heart Artists, handmade notecard, a $100 Friendship Heart Gallery gift certificate and a 2022 calendar. The winning paintbrush will be pulled at the conclusion of the auction live on our social media.

If you don’t have room in your home or office for another piece of art, there are other opportunities for your dollars to make a significant impact on the Heart Artists, Instructors and Volunteers! There are “Fund-a-Need” opportunities and general Gallery or Studio operations donations to enhance the Gallery & Studio experience for all. By making a donation to these needs, you recognize the Heart Artists and their talents and encourage them to continue with their skills. You acknowledge their capabilities, and you ensure that their creative space will be available for them and others to enjoy and appreciate.

We will be holding two opening receptions and art viewings to preview this year's Art Auction pieces.  Join us Friday, March 4th from 5 to 8:30pm at the Lancaster City Gallery and Friday, March 11, from 5 to 8pm at the Bloomfield Village Gallery. * Light refreshments provided.
