Ramon Cordero

Ramon Cordero has been a dedicated Heart Artist at Friendship Community since October 2023. His artistic journey began when he discovered his father’s old artwork, sparking a deep curiosity and desire to create. Through experimenting with art, Ramon sought to better understand his father’s passion, in the process, uncovered his own.

Ramon’s work often explores themes of Greek mythology and animals, brought to life through intricate line work, fine details, and bold shadowing. A true multi-talented artist, he excels across various mediums, thanks to his strong ability to multitask and adapt. His creative process begins with thorough research, carefully selecting the medium that will best express his vision.
For Ramon, art is not only a form of self-expression but an emotional outlet. It helps him process and manage emotions, particularly anger. He approaches each piece like a puzzle, evaluating how every detail fits into the bigger picture. This thoughtful method allows him to find joy and escape.

Currently, Ramon is exploring “Trash Polka,” a tattoo-inspired mixed media style that combines graphic lettering with layered imagery. He is developing a series of Trash Polka-inspired pieces that are bold and eye-catching. Ramon believes that Friendship Community is a unique place, where individuals can discover their passions.
