Thank You for Your Support!

When the doors opened at 6:00pm, our incredible community was ready and waiting to support the Heart Artists and our program while getting fabulous pieces of artwork. The Heart Artists and their guests arrived and were excited to see their masterpieces matted, framed, and ready to go to their new homes. With the silent auction underway, we were absolutely blown away watching the support come in through bids, Fund-A-Need opportunities, donations, paintbrush purchases and t-shirt purchases. With the help of 191 people in attendance, we were able to raise over $19,000 to help with the daily operations of the Gallery and Studio. We are so blessed that each of the 31 masterpieces by the Heart Artists sold as well as the 3 specialty items donated to us by sponsors. We are so humbled that all 4 of our Fund-A-Need items totaling $5,885 were fully funded - meaning the Studio's will be getting new desks, chairs, carts and art supplies!

At 7:00pm, guests gathered in the auditorium to hear the stories of the Heart Artists. Friendship Community's Spiritual Nurture and Community Life Advisor, Milt Stoltzfus, conducted a brief interview with each Artist in attendance who wished to share the story of their creation. Following that, Heart Artists Emily and Matt read speeches of their experiences in the Studio and what this incredible program means to them. Hearing all of the Heart Artists speak gives a humble reminder to how much this program means and the impact it makes on these Individuals. After this, Heart Artists Erica and Josh came up from to pull the winning Paint Brush Pull number out of a market tote - congrats to paint brush number 108 for winning the prize basket worth $545 of Heart Artist goodies!

We are so grateful and blessed to have such a strong community behind us supporting the daily operations of the Gallery & Studio. Because of YOU, the Heart Artists can continue growing their skillsets and learn new art mediums. Because of YOU, the Heart Artists have a safe and inclusive space to create their masterpieces. Because of YOU, the Heart Artists can share their talents with the world. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for showing the Heart Artists that you care!
